They cut some of the carpet to install the vents for the new heating system - and they found perfect (never been finished) oak flooring. We are in the process of stripping all the old carpet just to see what is under it. It appears that the bedrooms and the hallway all have nice wood floors - I really prefer them to carpet - we'll probably take it slow - one room at a time...
wow, that is beautiful! amazing someone would put carpet over a brand new oak floor!
