The Big Read

Our community is participating in "The Big Read". It's a National Endowment of the Arts program where the entire community reads the same book and comes together to discuss it. http://www.neabigread.org/

We're reading Fahrenheit 451 - Of course I read this way back when I was in Jr. High - I even saw the old movie. But it'll be fun to read it again. Some of the activities are a bonfire - no books involved - a dramatic reading - a viewing of the old movie - and gatherings to discuss the book - I'll be attending the one on Tuesday afternoons.

So get out there and see which book your community is 'doing'...
