We had a nice supper and then the Imposition of the Ashes service. I'm always amazed at how little time we spend pondering our mortality. These forty days are good for that - it's really 47 days as the Sundays are not counted - they are always a celebration of the Resurrection...
oh, of course we ponder our mortality - that's why we read what we read, why we listen to the lyrics of those songs and find the meanings (even if it's a meaning just for yourself!) love, k
