...hoping....


...that the snow and frost and cold wind doesn't kill the pretty fuzzy little buds on the tree in our backyard...

...one of the joys of moving in the wintertime is that you sometimes have to wait until spring to identify all of your trees and plants...

  3. Do you think that is a magnolia? There is a tree near me and it has that sort of bud.

  7. Our last move was to Northern Michigan in January. The neighbors were able to tell us a bit, but I was shocked by the epic peony hedges that came up! Makes me sad to think we'll probably be leaving them soon as well...
