...Walk to end Alzheimer's...

...I participated in my first ever "Walk to End Alzheimer's" ...and I arrived with the first rains of Hurricane Sandy...
...there were already lots of people there and the rain didn't seem to be dampening anyone's spirits any...
...our "Pray in Purple" table with Granddaddy's purple flower on the table...
...it wasn't long before people started to gather at the Start Line...
...pretty soon there was a huge crowd...
...then there was quite the bottleneck at the gate...
...the sea of people behind us...
...and we're finally out the gate...
...and headed up the street...the police and National Guard had all the streets blocked for our 2 mile walk...and it only drizzled rain on us the entire time...
...and when we completed our loop...there was a band welcoming us back...and lots of signs and cheers!...

...this was definitely a lot of fun...and I'll definitely be doing it again next year! ~Wishing you a wonderful weekend...
