...Angel Tree gifts...

...we took the Youth Group...about 27 kids...to Stuff-Mart for the annual Angel Tree Gift buying spree...

...the Youth had baked Sourdough Bread and sold the loaves to Church Members to raise their funds...and they wound up with $60 to spend on each child...

...so they each grabbed a cart and shopped...
...then we all met at Subway (there's one right in the Stuff-Mart)...for a quick supper...
...then it was back to the Church for the wrapping party...
...it was a lot of fun...
...everyone was smiling...obviously pleased with their purchases for another child...
...and there were lots of helping hands too...
...some presents were...ummmm...difficult to wrap...can you guess what this is...(hint...it's kinda retro...round and squishy and you sit on it)...
...when they were done wrapping they labeled the presents just with the child's first name...put everything into a big black bag and stuck the receipt on the outside so that the parents can come by the church and pick them up...

...we all had a lot of fun with this meaningful and generous ministry...

~Have a lovely day!
